Prime Minister to leave Copenhagen Today

Kathmandu 14 DEC: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is leaving for Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, tomorrow to participate in the world summit on climate change. The prime minister will address the summit on 16th of December that is to be participated in by the heads of states more than one hundred countries.

Prime minister Nepal, in his address, will draw the attention of the world leaders about the effect upon the Himalayans due to the climate change.

Earlier the government, in the meeting at Kalapathar, had made public a ten point Sagarmatha declaration to present in the Copenhagen meeting.

In the summit, three minutes has been allocated for each head of states for the address.

Thee prime minister is also scheduled to meet the united nations general secretary Ban ki Moon and will held talks with ten head of states of different countries on bilateral interest, according to the prime minister foreign advisor.

He is scheduled to return hometown on 20th of December.
